ELIGIBILITY

All applicants must have:

• Non-profit Status - Status as a nonprofit corporation in the State of Missouri and tax-exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
• Local Focus - Arts programs and services that occur in St. Louis City and County and are open and accessible to all citizens
• Diversity - A demonstrable commitment to diversity in all levels of the organization
• Financial Support - The ability to build a base of financial support through earned income and/or public and private support
• Public Outreach - A demonstrable level of public outreach programs
• Non-discrimination - Non-discriminatory employment and personnel practices

RESTRICTIONS

Applicants for Program and Operating funds may not apply to the Regional Arts Commission for:

• Individual fellowships
• Capital improvements
• Purchase of real property
• Projects already completed
• Tuition assistance
• Art therapy programs
• Refreshment costs
• Benefits/Fundraisers
• Programs outside St. Louis City and County
